Farm Album 2006
Photos taken late 2005 and throughout the year 2006

The herd in late November 2005.

The herd on a sunny January morning 2006.

Bo Bo and Sunny Day at home in their duplex.

Cheese tasting for 30 lucky guests.

Does from left to right: Lupe, Nell, Scooter. Missing is Rose.

Way pregnant does Scooter and Nell. April 2006.

Susan talks with Nell who finally delivered triplet females after a long labor. Our breeder was kind enough to come over In the middle of the night to provide life-saving assistance.

Here we are enjoying Nell's girls the next day. What is more adorable than a baby goat? Three baby goats!

This is one of Scooter's kids, a buckling. He is being bottle-fed with cow's milk so we can use Mom's milk to make cheese and soap.

All these babies means freshened does. Milking begins again for the season. Here is Nell on the stand.

Seven babies are a curious sight for the adults.

Here the babies are about 12 weeks old. Their friends the Dorset lambs are slightly older and much larger.

Yearling Olive, on the left, is a big girl for her age. She is dead ringer for her Mom, Nell. Scooter, on the right, is Nell's daughter from 2004.

We enjoy vending our soaps, lotions and creams at seasonal markets and fairs. This is what our set-up looked like at the Glastonbury Apple Festival in October, 2006.
